I love this post and your advice as the idea of chasing people is what puts many people off coming into network marketing.

I agree with you that attraction marketing can happen offline as well as online. I think it is all about posture. I remember when I first started in network marketing hearing that word and did not quite understand what it meant. Now I see it clearly.

Congratulations on coming to terms with accepting where your friends are at. Moving on is the best way to go. Having said that, I would re-approach them when circumstances were different for them AND that they expressed willingness to do something about it.

Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter is one of the best trainers out there. I remember his philosophy very well through his Fat Boy Story. There are many fat people out there. STOP selling them weigh management products that may help them IF THEY ARE NOT READY to be helped.

I also agree with you that just the training provided by the network marketing compnay is not sufficient. Or else, everyone attending events and/or trainings will be on stage. Your term ‘autonomous leader’ is so appropriate. Stepping up to be a leader is an inside job.

Cultivation can be accomplished by allowing them to share their ideas and suggestions about how to lead their team and what they feel is the best direction to take them. I do realize that there is a certain amount of company provided training, but at some point in their career, they should become an autonomous leader and figure some things out for themselves.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences and valuable insights. It seems like you have a great mentor! I have visited your blog as well. Congratulations on taking full responsibilities for your goals. You are leading by example. Having a crystal clear goal, a well designed plan and consistent action are the steps to success. There is really no real ‘secrets’.

Thank you for your condolence and concern. I remember your dad’s passing away and your return to Perth. I trust that your dad’s image is with you all the time. For me, I am happy that mum passed away without suffering. .

Thank you so much for bring our attention to people doing network marketing for some extra money. Sometimes just a couple of hundred dollars a months can make a big difference. For me, it is the certainty about a much brighter future that matters. Knowing that I can even impact on many more families down the track keeps me energized.

Starting with a small paycheque IS the baby step that all leaders go through. Every rank advancement is a significant progress. Even 3 steps forward and 2 steps backwards is great! Part time or full time?? What really matters is having the choice to choose, isn’t it?
