MLM Success on Solid Foundation

Welcome to some more success tips that I have learned from Jeff Roberti. My gratitude goes also to Eric Worre who did the interview with Jeff.

Here are some excellent network marketing success tips from Jeff:

Market Products That You Truly Believe In

Jeff learned from Larry Thompson that majority of people in our network marketing organization would be users. Some would be doing the business part time or even just some time….. and that is okay.

I could not agree more with Jeff about this strong focus on the product line.

First, when we truly believe in the benefits of the products, our energy is different when we communicate with others with passion!

Second, premier products that many people choose to use even if there is no business involved means that the business is on solid ground. There is no commission to be paid if there is no customers. Having a high percentage of distributors happily using the products means that the business is not built on sand!

Leadership Is Crucial

Jeff emphasized the importance of the long term vision and strategic plan of the company.  He shared with us how rewarding it was to live out the company vision and had the market extended to new countries. Great corporate leadership often inspire great leaders to step up and steer the company to new heights!

My observation is that growth in well-established network marketing companies can also be achieved by introducing new product lines.

It is through company’s leadership that new markets are opened OR new product lines are added. Both these strategies can help new distributors experience the company-induced growth.

System For Duplication

As the power of network marketing lies in duplication, it is vital that leaders in the network marketing company have proven easy-to-follow systems that new team members can stick to.

Jeff mentioned the word  ‘STICK’….. it is through sticking to the system that new members can REPRODUCE the outcome that leaders have!

It is by sticking to the system much like a franchise system that ANYONE can achieve success. No drama. It is predictable!

Hence, distributors such as stay-at-home mums, professional and people working in health sectors in Jeff’s organization also succeeded.

As Jeff stated, even if he were to leave, everybody would still drink the juice. Solid business turnover. Real commission for distributors.

    Hi Viola

I think the debate that often goes on in Network Marketing about leading with the product or business is an interesting one. To me it is simply about what does the prospect want. Not everyone wants to do a business but that does not mean they may not love or need our product.

Yes customers are very important to our business. And of course sticking to the system is critical for duplication.

These are such simple ideas but so often over looked.

Thanks for bringing Jeff and Eric to us Viola.

      Hi Sue,

Thank you for adding your valuable thoughts. It makes total sense to lead with what our prospects want. They want great products? Lead with products. They want business opportunity? Lead with that but bring out the market value of the great products for a solid business foundation.
One of the most common mistakes is for network marketers to focus on what THEY themselves are attracted to joining the company.

Our passion can sometimes drown our prospects! Listening is a crucial skill in order that we can find out what our prospects truly desire. Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter, one of the best network marketing trainers, calls this ‘leading with commonsense’.
You are absolutely correct in saying that simple ideas are often over looked. Let’s warn novice network marketers not to over look this common mistake – and lead with commonsense :)

Thanks, Sue! I do appreciate your sharing :)

  2. Interesting discussion! MLM and Network Marketing is all about the passion and your attitude towards the people who you work with. If you really love the product you sell, it is pretty easy to sell that product.

Absolutely right that it is not important that when you have got into the business but how you are doing with the business.

      Hi Annetta,

Excellent insights! What you are talking about is the essence of network marketing! It is the promoting and recommending of things that we love!

For those people who are looking for a network marketing opportunity, I strongly recommend them to do their due diligence. Find a product or service that they truly believe in. As you said, it is pretty easy to sell.
Sharing from the heart is different from sharing from the profit-oriented mentality. Put the spotlight into sharing the benefits of the products or services, others will feel our care.

      I apprecaite your sharing, Annetta.

    Great post Viola!

Leaders are crucial in this industry, and one of their most important jobs, is indeed to build up more leaders, to follow through with the vision and mission of the opportunity!

and that can only happen with the kind of duplication that you and Jeff talk about here….if not, every man is left to his own devices and you will end up with the “blind leading the blind” and the company going nowhere.

    appreciate your work Viola!!

Keep up the AMAZING example of leadership!

      Hi Kiki,

Great to have you here again, Kiki. Thank you so much for sharing your insights!

Building more leaders! Indeed this is the crucial part of team building. People from all walks of life are now joining the network marketing industry. Very few come in at a skill level that is adequate. Leaders inspire, guide and mentor others to become better leaders.
It is when new members of team becoming more competent that the exponential growth kicks in!

Loving your ‘blind leading the blind’ phrase :) Thanks, Kiki :)
